Protect the Hawaiian Monk Seal
Protect the Hawaiian Monk Seal!
It's ILLEGAL to kill a Hawaiian Monk Seal!
To increase the seal's chances for survival in the wild, do not feed them - it is illegal.
Give seals space to rest, molt, give birth, and care for their pups by keeping a 150 feet distance between you and all seals.
Keep dogs on a leash at all times to prevent injury and disease transmission between both the dog and seal.
Avoid approaching or "playing" with seals, they can display inquisitive and aggressive behavior on land and in the ocean. If approached by a seal, move away to avoid interaction or injury.
